The courses are run by experienced coaches who are British Rowing accredited.

Adult courses run in the Spring/ early Summer so that novices get a chance to improve their technique and stamina before the more challenging water and weather conditions of the autumn/winter.

Evening courses comprise 8 x 2-hour sessions held at the Club on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. A daytime course will run, usually on Tuesday and Friday mornings, starting at 9:30am

Course Overview

* Introduction Session: Your first visit to the Club will be an introduction to the sport of rowing and to the Club, outlining how it is run and the facilities on offer. This session will give you the opportunity to get to know the coaches and your fellow course attendees. Please come in sports kit, as there will be an introduction to technique.

 * How to Apply: The cost of the Learn to Row Stage 1 course for 2019 was £200.00 per person which includes membership of the Club for the duration of the course. Future courses will be in line with this cost.
