The Rowing Committee is responsible for managing all rowing activities to deliver club strategy. Led by the Club Captain, the committee comprises representation from all the squads and is supported by the Rowing Committee Secretary. The Captain reports to the Club Committee.

The committee meets monthly and depends on the active involvement of Squad captains to manages & resolves rowing tasks:

• Boat & blade renewals
• Cascade of equipment
• Boat allocation,
• Land training allocation
• Water time allocation
• Coaching and development pipeline for athletes, coxes and coaches
• Boat, ergo, launch and trailer maintenance

Squad Captains do not lead rowing tasks, they are too busy! Volunteers are needed to support rowing tasks

The Rowing Committee Secretary is responsible for control and communication of key documents approved by the Rowing Committee.
